House Rules

-We are happy to welcome your dog. Please include the pet during the booking process. A one time pet fee of $75 will be applied. -Covered parking "IF Available" and/or street parking -Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed in the house. Smoking outside is permitted. The homeowner is allergic to cigarette smell and if it is detected in the home the guests will be subject to a $500 fine. -No food in the bedrooms, please eat meals in the kitchen/common dining area or any outside area to prevent spills/stains that will result in an additional cleaning fee. -La Quinta has a city-wide noise ordinance rule from the hours of 10 pm to 6 am. A noise complaint WILL result in a $500 fine if local personnel is contacted and required to come out. -Travel insurance is recommended for your stay, we adhere to our cancellation policy and are not responsible to make exceptions once you have committed to your stay. -There is plenty of street parking with no permit requirements. You will need to submit your license plate number prior to your stay so that we can notify our gate security. -Subleasing our home is absolutely not permitted under any circumstances.

The Legacy Villas are a quaint, peaceful, friendly, resort like community. Some neighbors are permanent residents while others are vacation homes or short term vacation rentals like ours. Enjoy the gorgeous spanish revival architecture that La Quinta is so well known for along with all the amenities of a full service resort such as luxury pools, splash pads, kids pools, poolside cafe, gym, and jacuzzi.

Guest Access For those able to pry themselves from the villa, the swimming options abound with 12 private salt water pools and 11 relaxing Jacuzzis, including dedicated lap pool, tranquil adult pool, and the ultimate family pool and play area with its beach-like entry, plus splash fountains and resort cabanas (free of charge). The inviting hammock garden, outdoor fireside lounge area, poolside Cafe, social room, and state of the art fitness facility round out the spectacular 10,000 sq.ft. Clubhouse at the heart of the resort. For a host of additional options, guests can meander next door to The Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort and Club, featuring shopping, outdoor music, six fabulous restaurants, a world class spa, and two Pete Dye championship golf courses. Other things to Note Main Renter booking the Villa is responsible for their group, must be 21 or older, and must be occupying the property booked for the entire stay. A max of 3 cars is allowed per reservation.

Our family had a good time and comfortable stay. Our hosts were very communicative in general, and responsive on the one time we needed help with an alarm issue which was quickly resolved. The place was exactly as described and we particularly enjoyed the easy access to different swimming pools. The property is on the upper level so does have a flight of stairs to the entrance which is worth being aware of for anyone with mobility issues.

Our family of four plus dog had a great stay. The kids loved all the pools, and they enjoyed both the one that was a two minute walk and larger pool which was just a five minute walk away. The home was well stocked with all that we needed, and we appreciated that there were some pool tools to use as well. I loved curling up with a cup of coffee, sitting on the deck, and watching the morning light hit the hills. As a runner training for a half marathon, I appreciated the location is just a mile away from the start of the Bear Creek Trail. The onsite gym was great too. The home was quite a large space for the four humans plus small dog to enjoy. If we return in the future, we might bring another 2 people. There will still be plenty of room. It was quite easy to pop out to Trader Joe’s in one direction or the La Quinta town center in the other. We made most meals at the home but did enjoy one lovely dinner at the DSRT Club. We would return without hesitation.

Julia's property was great for our family, balconies were very nice to relax on. Heated pools were amazing especially with the colder weather we experienced while we were there. I would definitely recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s beautiful home in La Quinta! The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved that each of the three bedrooms had its own private bathroom—such a great setup for comfort and privacy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless and well-appointed. Communication with Julia was easy and prompt, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this home and would love to stay again!

Find us

There is ample guest parking in covered stalls as well as street parking. A car is generally needed to go anywhere outside of the community and Uber's, Lyft's, car services or deliveries of any kind will not be allowed entry into the community. Guests must meet their rides outside of the gate.
